Client Work & Collaborations
Alongside personal practice, Jo Rankin collaborates with clients to create and present original artworks. This may include commissioned pieces, gallery placements, or works created for specific environments, each approached with sensitivity to space, story, and material.
“Moving from city life to the small village of Kinloch in 2011 was a real change of pace for me. It was so exciting to have the time to totally surround myself with paints and canvas. Very quickly I found that I had a natural affinity with a contemporary abstract style of artwork and working with acrylic paint was definitely the right medium for me. Because acrylics dry quickly it allows me to build the layers to add depth and a richness to my paintings.”
